ETS' core business in fluid process and particulate dynamics stems from the extensive application of our unique Particle Tracing System and detection technology. ETS have over 14 years experience in the use of particulate, dye and bacteriological tracers and provide independent tracer, monitoring and project management services.

ETS was established in 1993 in Cornwall by Dr Jon Marsh and is an independent limited company. In 1997 the company relocated to Scotland, 25 miles north-west of Glasgow close to Loch Lomond, and within Scotland's first National Park. 

ETS technical staff have a wide range of backgrounds, with the majority educated to Doctorate or Masters level. Specialist backgrounds include Oceanography, Geology, Environmental Technology, Organic Chemistry, Applied Biology, Marine Science, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, Sediment Geology, Sediment Transport and Biochemistry. Our multidisciplinary teams of scientists have worked on public, commercial and research projects across the globe.

ETS is currently undergoing further expansion underpinned by our recent success in the US. Our plans for the future include the opening of a satellite office in Boston, USA and to increase our in-house resources.
